This course covers time-varying electromagnetic fields, starting with Faraday's Law, displacement current, and Maxwell's equations, leading into the wave equation and Helmholtz equation for plane wave propagation. It covers wave polarization, the Poynting vector, and reflection/refraction at boundaries, along with transmission line theory and analysis. The course concludes with an introduction to rectangular waveguides, antennas, and basic optical fiber communication systems.
